Inspired by the word "to weave," we bring together the threads of our local culture, history, and craft. Every dish is about blurring the lines between what was "yours" and "mine" until it became "ours."

Co-founder, Beverage Director
Phua is the first founder of the restaurant. His reputation precedes him in the coffee industry — a National Barista Champion in 2019, and now turned chef restaurateur. Phua's love for food and cooking has led him to this point, doing food that he loves to share with his supporters. You'll see him mixing drinks one day, and in the kitchen cooking the next.
Co-founder, Restaurant Director
Trained in Melbourne and shaped by traditional Cantonese restaurants, Bimmy specialises in dim sum and dumplings — masterful with his techniques in the cuisine. He's likely the first person you'll meet at the restaurant, out and about, doing the serving.
Co-founder, Head Chef
Coming from the fine dining scene, Aaron Khor joined Phua and Bimmy during the infancy years of Fifty Tales and serves as head chef. Trained across various fine dining restaurants, he's learnt the best tricks of the trade — and is always trying to find a way to provoke diners, to make the experience memorable.
